CHANTING THE DIVINE NAMES

Chanting the Divine Names is one of the easiest meditation practices you can do. It’s especially meaningful when you turn every repetition into a heartfelt prayer. Although it’s deceptively simple, it can take you all the way to God!

Everyone can do it, anytime and anywhere, even children. It is perfect for beginners who want a simple, effective tool to quiet the mind and open the heart. Project Mantra gives you everything you need to build up a daily chanting practice.

ANCIENT SECRET KNOWLEDGE

Mantra chanting has been a core practice of most spiritual traditions for thousands of years. Ancient yogis used mantras to heal their bodies, transcend the senses, and to attain the ultimate goal of every spiritual journey: communion with the Divine.

In these chaotic times, mantra chanting is the fastest, easiest and most effective way to still the mind and drop into the silence of the heart where true Love can blossom. Immersing yourself in chanting, even for just a few minutes a day, can dramatically improve the way you relate to yourself, others and the world around you.

TAKE THE CHALLENGE

Project Mantra is a free program designed to help you establish and gradually build up a daily chanting practice over 40 days. The goal of Project Mantra is to help you establish a strong, positive habit of connecting with the Divine on a daily basis.

If you want to experience more peace, lasting happiness, true love and divine connection, take the Project Mantra Challenge. It’s simple: follow the instructions below and chant for 40 days. That’s it. Just do it and see what happens!

Let’s get started; it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

STEP 1 – LISTEN TO THE MANTRA

Om Namo Narayanaya is a powerful maha-mantra. It is considered a maha (great) mantra because all other mantras are contained within it. Therefore, you only need to chant this one mantra.

With sincere practice, this mantra one can help you to attain Self-realisation, and ultimately God-realisation. Let it become a prayer, your offering to the Divine, for the next 40 days.

STEP 2 – MAKE A DATE WITH THE DIVINE

It takes 40 days for the transformational power of the practice to begin to create a permanent shift in your consciousness. This simple schedule will help you gradually build up your practice and establish a strong habit for continued advancement on your spiritual path.

  • Day 1-10: Chant 15 minutes per day
  • Day 11-20: Chant 30 minutes per day
  • Day 21-30: Chant 45 minutes per day
  • Day 31-40: Chant 60 minutes per day

You can chant all in one sitting or break up the time throughout the day. Choose whatever works best for you. You might find it helpful to think of this time as a date with God. Marking it in your calendar and chanting at the same time every day will strengthen your practice.

To succeed in the Challenge, you must chant the required amount of time. If, during the 40 days, you skip a day or chant less than the full amount, you must start all over again with Day 1. Although you will not be monitored, it is good to remember that honesty and integrity are important qualities that help you advance on your spiritual path.

STEP 3 – START CHANTING

It’s easy, just chant! You may chant the mantra out loud, sing it, whisper it, chant along with the recording, or say it inwardly. For added depth, bring your awareness to your third eye (the space between your eyebrows) and imagine or look at your favourite image of the Divine.

The more you chant with love, the deeper you will go and the more you will discover. Above all, enjoy your practice, because that makes all the difference in the world.

BLESSING OF THE MASTER

Paramahamsa Vishwananda blesses and supports all those who are sincere in their practice. You’ll find the more you chant with love, the more His blessing will sustain you and carry you deeper into the practice where the real treasures lie.
