Kann man Manas Puja machen, während man die Tage hat? Schließlich fasst man ja nichts an …
Guruji about menstruation, Source: Bhudevi Yagna, May 2013
“All of you have left?! Listen, every time before the ritual prayers I repeat the same thing. Mataji’s, when you have your menstruation, you are going through a certain purification.
According to the shastras, even by touching somebody who is near you, the person also gets affected. This is your personal purification that you have to go through, so you should not even touch the people who are performing the prayer. That’s why every time I ask you to go far away. You should also not sit with the people around the yagna. You can participate with the mind (manas).
This participation is also very important, but participating ritually it’s not good. Because, when you are doing a certain ritual everything gets intensified. And when you have this purification happening, there’s already a certain negativity which is going out. Then, by adding a certain energy to that
negativity, it becomes stronger. That’s why it is said that matajis should keep a certain distance. It doesn’t mean that they should not participate.
They can participate with the mind, but energetically they should keep away from that energetic point.”
